Making PrEP Easier to Access Through Grindr

To our global Grindr community,
Starting today, Grindr users in the US and Canada can choose to access free or low cost PrEP care through the Grindr app.
We’re making this possible in partnership with Freddie, a physician-led telehealth and pharmacy platform that Grindr today announced an agreement to acquire.
PrEP is up to 99% effective at preventing HIV, yet millions of people who could benefit from it aren’t using it. Through Grindr’s Health center, users can now connect with Freddie to see a clinician, get tested, and have medication delivered discreetly.

This builds on years of work through Grindr for Equality and public health partners to expand access to HIV testing and prevention.
Grindr users have ordered more than half a million free HIV self-test kits through our app, with a quarter of recipients reporting they’d never taken an HIV test before. Now, we’re making the next step easier.
To get started, open Grindr and tap Health.
