Grindr Presents: Who's the Asshole? is back for Season 5. Six new guests, six new episodes, and another round of hookups, heartbreak, bad behavior, and stories that really should have stayed between you and your group chat.

Asshole investigator Katya Zamolodchikova returns September 17 alongside Matt Rogers, Mary Beth Barone, Jaboukie Young-White, Evan Mulrooney, George Civeris, and Alaska, all ready to get extremely involved in the Grindr community's personal business.

If you don't know the drill: real people call the Grindr hotline with real stories from their lives, Katya and her guest listen, and together answer one deceptively simple question: who's the asshole? Sometimes there's a clear answer. Sometimes everyone sucks. Sometimes you already know the answer and just need Katya to say it out loud.

After four seasons of sex, dating, ghosting, situationships, and decisions best made after midnight, there's still plenty left to discuss. Katya and her guests get into hookup etiquette, relationship red flags, sexual misadventures, and the questionable choices that somehow seem perfectly reasonable in the moment, proving once again that when it comes to Grindr, there’s always more to the story.

Along the way, the show even picked up a Shorty Award for Best Branded Podcast. A very nice bit of validation for a series built around letting the Grindr community tell us what really goes down when nobody's pretending to behave.

Meet Your Jury

First up on September 17 is Matt Rogers, a man who has spent years on Las Culturistas proving there is virtually no subject on which he cannot form an opinion–and vigorously defend it. TIME named it one of the 100 best podcasts of all time. We’d argue four minutes of Matt discussing almost any pop star already qualified him for the bench.

On September 24, Mary Beth Barone takes the seat. The Overcompensating star, Ride co-host, and comedian behind Galaxy Brain has made an art of looking directly at something ridiculous and saying exactly what needs to be said. A useful quality when strangers start telling you about their sex lives.

Jaboukie Young-White arrives October 1, bringing the perspective of a comedian, actor, musician, former Daily Show correspondent, and someone who survived being extremely online long enough to turn it into a career. If anyone understands the dangers of putting your business in front of strangers and inviting commentary, it’s him.

Then, on October 8, Evan Mulrooney: former Big Ten football player, comedian, honorary RuPaul’s Drag Race Pit Crew member, and self-proclaimed “Working Man’s Henry Cavill.” We have no idea what combination of life choices produces that resume, which feels like excellent preparation for this particular job.

George Civeris takes over October 15. The StraightioLab co-host has gone from Columbia researcher to Gawker editor to comedian professionally dissecting heterosexual culture. Now we’re handing him the gays. Fair is fair.

And closing out the season on October 22 is Alaska: RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2 winner, recording artist, Race Chaser co-host, professional alien, and most recently Mary Todd Lincoln in the national tour of Oh, Mary! If that doesn’t qualify someone to hear a case involving betrayal, delusion, sex, or questionable judgment, our legal system needs work.
