Help Support “Grindr For Equality”

Grindr is looking to continue our involvement in the political process by tapping in to our user base in order to receive regular updates on GLBT issues on the local, national and international scale. We have launched “Grindr For Equality” and have already received over 3,000 user responses from across the globe who will assist us in figuring out ways to use our vast 2.6 million user network and geo-targeting technology to mobilize our community.

We continue to look for people around the world to send us regular updates on the latest political issues facing gay rights in your area and would appreciate any time you could spare, be it a weekly update or a one-off e-mail tipping us off to what is happening. Getting in touch with us is simple and we would love to hear from you. To keep us informed on your local issues, follow this link to sign up.

Grindr Has Pride

June may have been officially declared as National Pride Month by President Obama, but Grindr continues to celebrate the global GLBT community by supporting festivals, parades and events both small and grand around the world into the fall. From Birmingham, AL to Budapest, El Paso, TX to EuroPride we’ll be there to sponsor celebrations that connect our community and remind us of where we’ve come from and where we are headed.

This Pride, we have much to celebrate now that we’ve reached 2.2 million users in 192 countries and can truly feel the vibrance of our global community as a result of it.  We are so proud to be the largest all-male location based network in the world linking together so many guys globally. Meeting face to face is what Grindr is all about so we hope to see you at one of the Pride events we will continue to support. For upcoming Pride events where you can meet up with other users and the Grindr team, click here. Reaching this milestone of 2.2 million users could not have been possible without your support and spreading the word about Grindr and for that we are eternally grateful. We look forward to celebrating all we have accomplished this year and look forward to what comes next.
